POLICIES

To ensure the best results and a smooth experience, please review the following policies before booking your appointment. By scheduling with us, you agree to these terms.

Booking & Deposits

● A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments and must be sent via Zelle at glowupbymari.llc@gmail.com.

● If payment is not received within 1 hour, the booking will be canceled.

● Deposits are applied toward your final service cost; appointments without deposits will not be held.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

● At least 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel to avoid losing your deposit. Rescheduling must only be done once. There are no exceptions for cancellations.

● Same-day cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows will result in loss of deposit.

● A new deposit will be required to rebook.

Late Arrivals & No Show

● Please arrive on time. Clients arriving 15+ minutes late may need to reschedule and will forfeit their deposit.

● If you no call and no show, you will be charged 50% of the service amount. I understand that emergencies happen, but please let me know if you will not make it to your appointment.

● If you’re running late, please call or text me at (860) 237-0710.

Touch-Up Policy

● A touch-up appointment is recommended 6–10 weeks after the initial procedure (depending on the service).

● Touch-ups are a separate fee unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

● Additional sessions beyond the perfecting appointment will be charged accordingly.

Health & Eligibility

● Clients must be 18 years or older with valid photo ID.

● Services cannot be performed if you are:
 ○ Pregnant or breastfeeding
 ○ On blood thinners
 ○ Undergoing chemotherapy or have uncontrolled medical conditions
 ○ Have active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, cold sores, rashes) at or near the treatment area

● Please disclose all health conditions, medications, and previous PMU work prior to your appointment.

Existing Permanent Makeup

● Previous tattooing must be approved with a clear photo before booking. Send the picture via text 860-237-0710 or email glowupbymari.llc@gmail.com, or schedule an in-person consultation prior to booking online.

● Not all previous work can be corrected or covered — some may require removal first.

Results Disclaimer

● Healed results vary by skin type, lifestyle, medications, and aftercare.

● No guarantees are made regarding pigment retention, longevity, or desired color outcome.

● Multiple sessions may be required to achieve your desired results.

Aftercare Responsibility

● Proper aftercare is essential for best results.

● Failure to follow aftercare may lead to poor pigment retention or undesired results, which are not the artist’s responsibility.

Refunds

● All deposits, services, and products are non-refundable.

Children & Guests

● For safety, sanitary reasons, and focus, please no children or extra guests are permitted in the procedure room. There is a waiting area for guests as well as shops and restaurants nearby.
